A new visual identity has been unveiled for the next Visions du Reél film festival, due to take place in Nyon from 13th - 21st April 2018.
The festival has a new artistic director (Emilie Bujès) and now, a new look. This new logo retains the key elements of identity that the Festival is recognised for - the name, Visions du Réel, and the colour red that has been on the Festival’s posters from the beginning.
For the 2018 poster, the Festival has used a photograph by a local Vaudois photographer Delphine Schacher. Her work has already won many awards: winner of the Artistic Prize of the Municipality of Nyon in 2014 and finalist in the Swiss Photo Awards 2016. This year, the festival has used her photograph (taken at the festival in 2015) and not an image from a film.
There will be more information coming up in the next few months on Nyon's documentary film festival. Many films are screened in English or are subtitled in English at this prestigious festival.
