Nyon’s Rive Ice Rink Is Back for the Season.

Get your skates ready, the Rive indoor ice rink is open from Saturday, October 25 and it will stay open right through to March 1, 2026, including during school holidays. Beginner or pro, solo or with friends, lace up and join the fun - everyone is welcome on the ice.
The best part? Access to the 525 m² rink is free. Skate rentals are available on site for just CHF 3 for children and CHF 5 for adults.

Free skating:
Wednesday: 14:00–17:30
Friday: 16:30–18:30
Saturday: 13:30–18:30
Sunday: 12:00–17:30
Free hockey:
Monday: 16:30–17:45
Wednesday: 12:30–13:30
Sunday: 17:30–18:30
At other times, the rink is used for school classes, HC Nyon training, and team bookings. Other hockey clubs can also rent evening slots on Mondays and Tuesdays from 20:00.
Learn to Skate or Try Hockey
For kids ready to hit the ice, HC Nyon offers introductory hockey sessions for ages 5 to 17, while budding skaters can try figure skating lessons on Sunday mornings.The classes are designed for beginners and intermediates, mixing fun games with skating basics, a great way to build confidence on the ice!

Warm Up at “La Cabane”
After a spin on the ice, head next door to “La Cabane”, the cosy winter bar run by Agathe and Olivier de Cocatrix (who also manage Le Ponton in summer).
Expect fondue, snacks, all inside a heated space that’s perfect for warming up after a skate.
Planning a celebration or team night out? Both the rink and La Cabane can be reserved for private events on Thursday, Friday, or Saturday evenings, ideal for a festive gathering with friends or colleagues.
