Two Reasons to Head into Nyon this Saturday

Nyon’s town centre will be particularly busy on Saturday 3 October, with the return of the traditional Marché d’automne and the Fête de la Vigne taking place around the Place du Château. It is the kind of autumn Saturday that gives you plenty of reasons to spend time in Nyon. Together, the two events will bring a lively atomosphere to your weekend.

Organised by the Société Industrielle et Commerciale (SIC) de Nyon, the autumn market will run from 08:00 to 20:00, bringing together local produce, food, crafts and a range of activities from sports and cultural associations.

Browse the market stalls, stop for something to eat, discover local products and then make your way towards the Château for wine tastings, music and activities linked to the Fête de la Vigne.

Getting to the market

Several roads in the centre will be closed to traffic during the events, including Rue de la Morâche, Rue Juste-Olivier, Rue Perdtemps, Rue Saint-Jean, Grand-Rue, Rue du Marché and Rue du Collège.

Visitors are encouraged to walk, cycle or use public transport where possible. The TPN bus lines 803, 804 and 805 will be free throughout the day.

For those arriving by car, the recommended parking options are Perdtemps, the train station car park and Le Martinet.
