New Year's Swim amongst the Icicles in Nyon

Over 50 people turned up for the New Year's Swim in the lake today, the 8th January. Even though there were ice formations around the lake after the recent Bise wind, it didn't stop these hardy souls donning fancy dress and taking a dip in the cold waters. At the end of the swim, they then soaked in a hot outdoor jacuzzi and drank champagne! There was a fun atmosphere on the day, with vin chaud and soup on offer to the onlookers.
