Next Friday the 19th May 2017, it's Neighbours' Day in Nyon, Prangins, Gland, Rolle, Morges, Geneva, Lausanne and in many other towns and cities in Switzerland and across Europe.
Look out for the posters in your area or in your building. If there isn't an event going on where you live, why not organise one of your own and invite the neighbours over?
Events are usually held in the early evening and they can be anything from a simple apéro to a barbecue or a répas canadien (pot-luck supper).
*Nyon council can provide posters, balloons, invitation flyers, even T-shirts and trestle tables for the event (if there are enough in stock!) and they have announced that there will be a special prize for the first 60 organisers.
