Far°, the Festival of Living Arts starts in Nyon on the 9th August and continues until the 19th. The theme of the festival this year is "Our Futures". The festival takes place in various venues around Nyon but the main hub/bar /central area of the festival is at the Usine à Gaz.
The programme of the festival is now out and tickets can be bought online (some events in the festival have been translated into English). Look out for the ‘living sculpture’, based on Picasso’s 1928 painting
Bathers with Beach Ball
. This summer, the two bathers will stop over at far° and will lounge around among the festivalgoers by setting up shop in the courtyard of the Usine à Gaz to catch the last sunrays. More details here.
