Electric Bikes for rent now back in Nyon

Writer: CatherineCatherine

The PubliBikes (both electric and non-electric) are now back in situ -  just outside the railway station in Nyon. They were replaced recently during the modernisation of the Publibike network in the La Côte area. There are other bike stations across Nyon and in Prangins, Gland, Dully etc. This new system enables customers to use a smartphone or SwissPass to use the bikes. How does the PubliBike system work?  There's a clear explanation (in English) on the PubliBike website. Click here. There are different subscription possibilities for regular commuters, tourists, and a Quick Bike subscription which comes without an annual fee. Perfect for travelling short distances without a car!

Once subscribed you can then ride in all the new PubliBike networks in Lausanne, Morges, Lugano, Sion, and Zurich and coming soon - Bern and Fribourg.
