The two radio masts (each weighing 70 tonnes!), have been a landmark in the area for many years and were blown up on Thursday by a special explosives team. You can read all about the masts' history here. Alistair Scott, a professional photographer living in Gland was there to capture all the action. Alistair is the author of 'The Greatest Guide to Photography' and runs photography courses in English for beginner/intermediate photographers. Further details click here
