There's more music on the agenda this weekend in Nyon as it's La Fête de Musique. Lots of music is on offer from classical, to jazz to blues to hip hop to African music to piano recitals to rock to heavy metal to soul to funk. It all takes place in various venues in Nyon, some indoor, some outside. So whatever the weather, there should be something that will appeal to all of you. Here's the full programme. Some sad news and some good news. After five years the Café /Tearoom "Bibliothee" in Nyon will be closing its doors for the last time on 26th June. The good news is that in September Anne-Lies (who has hosted many a Living in Nyon event) will be helping to run a new tearoom in the old town in Café Deco in Grande Rue. Watch this space for further details. Before that, there will be a closing down sale of items in Bibliothee, from 14:00 on Monday 22 June. There will be IKEA Billy bookshelves, plus some of the lovely old furniture in the café for sale, and of course, the books which are in English, French, German and Dutch. There will be some good bargains to be had. She has plenty of carrier bags already lined up for you to take the books away for some summer reading!
