Criteria & Terms and Conditions for Sponsors

To maintain a high-quality and relevant experience for our community, sponsors featured on Living in Nyon must meet the following criteria. These guidelines help ensure that your sponsorship reaches its full potential while aligning with our mission of connecting local businesses with the diverse, international audience in the Nyon region.

Eligibility Criteria

English-Language Contact

To help you effectively reach the international and English-speaking community in the Nyon region, your business must have at least one English-speaking point of contact, such as a receptionist, customer service representative, or manager. This ensures seamless communication with expats and residents who may not speak French.

Alignment with the Nyon Region

Sponsors must have a strong connection to the Nyon region, either by being locally based or providing services/products that are relevant to the local community. We welcome businesses, organizations, and initiatives that contribute to the region's vibrancy and growth.
 

Targeting an International Audience

As Living in Nyon is designed for a diverse, multilingual audience, we encourage sponsors to showcase services and offerings that are inclusive and accessible to the international community.

 

Tracking Code

To ensure transparency and measurable outcomes, all sponsors must provide either a unique tracking promo code or a UTM link. This code will be displayed on your business landing page within our platform, allowing us to track the traffic directed to your business as a result of the sponsorship. This helps demonstrate the value of partnering with Living in Nyon while providing clear insights into the visibility and engagement generated.

Quality & Appropriateness of Content

Content and materials submitted for sponsorship features must align with our values of inclusivity, respect, and community focus. We reserve the right to review and request edits to any material provided to ensure it aligns with the tone and needs of our audience.

Terms & Conditions

High-Quality Content Submission

Sponsors are responsible for submitting high-quality promotional materials, including images, descriptions, and business details. By providing these materials, you confirm that you own the rights to any submitted content.
 

Payment and Duration

Sponsorship packages are billed annually, with a minimum commitment of 3 years. Payments are non-refundable once the sponsorship has been activated.
 

Exclusivity

Sponsorship opportunities are limited to businesses that align with our mission and values. We may decline sponsorship applications from businesses that we feel are not a good fit for the Living in Nyon community.
 

Additional Services

Any additional features outside the sponsorship package (such as extra social media promotions or multi-language articles) can be requested for an additional fee.

Term and Termination

  • Sponsorship begins on the date of agreement.

  • Sponsorship is a three-year commitment and will automatically renew at the end of the term.

  • Either party may terminate the agreement at the end of the term by providing at least 90 days’ written notice before renewal.
     

Payment and Invoicing

  • Invoices will be sent via email.

  • Payment options: annually, bi-annually, or quarterly, in advance.
