Mark your calendars for Saturday, 8 November 2025, when creativity takes over the streets of Nyon! The Journée des Arts is back with a vibrant, free event that turns the town into an open gallery for one inspiring day.

In ateliers and museums to galleries and public spaces, more than 50 artists across 27 venues will be opening their doors. So if you love painting, sculpture, photography, or digital art, this is the day to wander around, meet the makers, and let them wow you.

This year’s theme celebrates the idea that art belongs to everyone so expect a full day of encounters, performances, and hands-on activities, including a participatory mural, family workshops, and an introduction to Les Maîtres du Monde, a new school dedicated to digital creation.

A Day for All Ages

Families and children can enjoy free creative workshops throughout the day; bookmaking and puppet design to figure drawing, cyanotype printing, and even stop-motion animation.

And if you’re more of a spectator than a sketcher, you’ll still find plenty to see. There will be a film screening at the Cinémas Capitole, the art-and-music performance by Bernard Garo, and the chance to discover this year’s guest artist, Flora Mottini, at Galerie Greg Podgorski on Rue de Rive.
