The Rive will once again be transformed into a hub of food trucks and pop-up stands as the Nyon Street Food Festival returns from 20–23 August. Now in its seventh edition, the festival will bring together nearly 40 food trucks and stands, with dishes inspired by cuisines from around the world alongside local wines and beers and a selection of cocktails.
It all takes place around the Quai de Rive, the covered area there and the Rive parking, making it an easy stop for lunch, dinner or an evening drink by the lake. There are plenty of options for different dietary requirements too. All exhibitors offer at least one vegetarian option, while vegan (VG), gluten-free (GF) and dairy-free (DF) choices are marked on the festival’s exhibitor listings.
Opening hours
Thursday 20 August: 17:00–22:00
Friday 21 August: 12:00–00:00
Saturday 22 August: 12:00–00:00
Sunday 23 August: 12:00–22:00
Entry is free.
A note about parking
If you usually park at Rive, take note: Rive-Est car park is closed from the morning of Wednesday 19 August until the end of Monday 24 August to allow for the festival set-up and dismantling. The festival is around a 10–15 minute walk from Nyon train station, or you can take bus 811 to the Nyon, Usine à Gaz stop.
