The Newfoundland Dog Association of Geneva and the Lake Geneva region (ATNG) is bringing its water rescue dogs to Nyon for a day of demonstrations and activities by the lake.

About the event
The Newfoundland Dog Association of Geneva and the Lake Geneva region (ATNG) is bringing its water rescue dogs to Nyon for a day of demonstrations and activities by the lake.
Visitors will see dogs and their handlers respond to different rescue scenarios, from assisting a tired swimmer and helping someone in difficulty to towing a paddleboard back to shore. The demonstrations can be watched from the lakeside near the rowing club pontoon or from the Grande Jetée.
There will also be opportunities to swim with the Newfoundland dogs, take part in an exercise and try the role of a rescue handler. Family activities and light refreshments will be available throughout the day.
All money raised during the event will be donated to La Maison des Enfants, a Nyon association providing a free drop-in space for children aged 6 to 12.
